Flaxseed and flaxseed oil

The name for flaxseed comes from ancient Latin language, and it means “very useful”, and that is very true. Flax got its’ name because every part of the plant is utilized in creation of many distinct products for bettering our lives, like flaxseeds and flaxseed oil. Flaxseed oil is derived from small golden-brown seeds of the flax (also known as linen) plant, and it has many health benefits.

This oil contains plenty of Omega-3 acids, and since the human body can’t produce Omega-3 acids on its own, the consumption though food sources (or supplementation) is necessary.
